Preparing for putting together some posts on BGP I looked up to see if there were documentation AS numbers reserverd for documentation, just like the ip addresses in one of my previous posts the following AS Numbers are reserved.
23456 - [RFC4893] - For translation between 32 bit and 16 bit ASNs.
64496-64511 Reserved for use in documentation and sample code [RFC5398]
64512-65534 Designated for private use (Allocated to the IANA)
65536-65551 Reserved for use in documentation and sample code [RFC5398]
